Originally conceived as a visionary studio project, DELFINIA emerged onto the international metal scene under the creative helm of vocalist/composer/sound producer Konstantin 'Laars' Naumenko, known for his vocal prowess in bands like SUNRISE (UA), SYMPHONITY (CZ), and Titanium (PL). Joining forces with the talented singer and keyboardist Daria Naumenko (SUNRISE, W. Angel’s CONQUEST, NOVI), DELFINIA set out on a sonic journey that transcends boundaries.

     In 2019, DELFINIA unveiled their debut album, 'Deep Elevation,' a masterpiece featuring a collaboration with a stellar lineup of musicians from around the globe. Renowned names such as Roland Grapow (Masterplan, ex-Helloween), Olaf Thorsen (Labyrinth, Vision Divine), Aldo Lonobile (Secret Sphere), Ross VC Thompson (Van Canto), Jocke 'Aerendir' Johansson (Twilight Force), and Krzysztof Gunsen Elzanowski (Pathfinder) lent their expertise to craft a musical odyssey of 11 compositions.

    The album's lead singles, "I'm Here" (February 2014) and "Do You Remember" (April 2017), showcased DELFINIA's ability to seamlessly blend powerful vocals with intricate instrumentals. The latter featured a collaboration with the legendary Roland Grapow, adding another layer of depth to the band's evolving sound.

The artistic vision extended beyond the music, with the captivating cover artwork crafted by Brazilian artist Jean Michel (Designations Artwork), known for his work with bands like Keep of Kalessin, Lynch Mob, and SUNRISE.

     In 2023, the narrative of DELFINIA took an unexpected turn as Konstantin and Daria, driven by the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine, relocated to the UK. Here, they crossed paths with drummer Carl Sheldrick and guitarist Daniel Rankin, marking the transformation of DELFINIA into a Northampton-based band.

     Now firmly rooted in the UK, DELFINIA has set the stage ablaze with live performances across the country, captivating audiences and preparing the groundwork for their highly anticipated new album. With a renewed lineup and a relentless passion for pushing sonic boundaries, DELFINIA continues to elevate the metal genre to new heights. Stay tuned for the next chapter in their musical odyssey.
